Here are some tasks awaiting attention:
- Article requests : A significant amount of work may be needed to bring the article to Featured article status; carefully examine the Wikipedia:Featured article criteria. Models are Stuyvesant High School and Baltimore City College
- Copyedit : The entire article will need an experienced copy editor once expanded.
- Expand : History: fill in any gaps in history, context of school creation, special visitors, information about charter status and 50th anniversary. A sourced section describing former Principals and any notable accomplishments. A section on notable Faculty members. Possibly separate out any information based on Katrina and recovery efforts to a separate section per Stuyvesant_High_School#Stuyvesant_and_9.2F11. Extracurricular activities: Athletics needs more prose describing the program and its history. Performing arts needs information on the choir, dance team, etc. Publications needs history of the school newspaper and descriptive prose about the content of journals such as the Riverbend Review. Clubs and organizations must be converted to descriptive prose. A Criticisms section as in Stuyvesant_High_School#Accusations_of_bias_in_admission_tests. All additions must be referenced.
- Split : If verified and expanded significantly, the notable alumni section will need its own separate list (has not reached that stage).
- Verify : All information on this page should be properly referenced with reliable sources or it may be removed at any time.
- Other : Free images, preferably of the actual school (e.g. classrooms, band room, courtyard, and optionally students as in (Image:1bccinfotech07.jpg))
