name edit
How did the spelling "Gumaz" make it in here? Since it is linked like that now in many places I used it grudgingly in my own links, but I have never seen this anywhere else. The name refers of course to the Gumuz people and I see no reason why it should not be spelled like this. --Landroving Linguist 22:15, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Is there any explanation why this region uses the Pan-Arabic flag scheme edit
Besides the usage of Pan-African colours in a coincidetally similar scheme to Pan-Arab colors, the flag of region also appears similar to Pan-Arabic Flags with the triangle and color scheme appearing similar to Pan-Arabic Flag, with so much similarity that it can not be simply overruled with simple "it just appears similar" type of arguement.
As I know neither Berta people or Gumuz people are Arabic nor Arabised, is there reason why flag appears very and pretty much deliberately similar to Arabic flag scheme? Cactus Ronin (talk) 22:45, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
