Merge Ben Richards into Ben Richards (actor)

I saw this request from a user on an admin's talk page and decided to take a look. Yes, these two articles are basically the same thing. Of the two, this one is more cited, so it should be the main article, with any unique information in Ben Richards brought here. As there are other articles on people with the same name, and also not knowing which one would be the most well-known (although I have a sneaking suspicion it's a fictional character from The Running Man played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, even if said character doesn't have an article), leaving it with the disambiguation parameter will probably be the best bet. As such, I hereby propose that Ben Richards be merged here into Ben Richards (actor).

• Clearly Merge - same person, make one article. Looks currently like a decently referenced bio alongside a filmography table. Chris857 (talk) 20:28, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
• Merge - As they are the same person. This is the better sourced of the two. Useful information that could be merged from the dup could be the filmography and the infobox. The rest is trivial guest appearences as himself on TV game shows etc.Rain the 1 20:42, 7 February 2012 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: not moved. There is a consensus that this article is not the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, and that the disambiguation page should be at Ben Richards.

I don't see the actor is a clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC here so the proper move seems to be Ben Richards (disambiguation) → Ben Richards; but if the edit histories are too messed up for a histmerge maybe it should just be left as-is, or an admin could juggle the histories as suggested by 70. benmoore 22:20, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

• Support. The actor got almost twice as many (846) page views as the writer (476) last month. The other uses are negligible. That means the actor is more likely than all the others combined to be the one being sought, and much more likely than any other. That's WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, by definition. • Support per B2C - the actor is much more likely to be sought than the other topics combined - in fact all the other topics besides the writer are partial title matches or have different names entirely. No evidence countering these findings have been suggested. The histories can be merged, swapped, or whatever option the closing admin decides is best.--Cúchullain ^t/c 17:10, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
• Oppose. Not clear that the actor is "much more likely than any other topic" per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Other uses may not have separate articles but the Running Man character is certainly notable, being a Schwarzenegger film role. • Oppose per Tassedethe. The actor is not a clear primary topic, if only because the question is clouded by fictional characters with similar names.
