Crossing the Line edit

There is no mention of Eager's unique record when it comes to suspensions, and potential suspensions where he has escaped further discipline.

He was the very first player charged under the repeat offender rule in 2008-2009.

He has also been too reckless for several teams who had notable 'projects' on their roster. 2002 Phoenix Coyotes gave away what had been their first round draft pick because they couldn't trust him, he runs away from fights, and they didn't want to pick up an enforcer just to protect Eager. Philadelphia thought he was more reckless than Steve Downie at his worst. Chicago did not want to test their luck any more and though Kyle Beach a safer project. Atlanta took him on as a salary dump to get Ladd and Byfuglien. He gets more phone calls from Colin Campbell than either Matt Cooke or Sean Avery, he literally is the #1 problem case in the NHL.

Joe Thornton of San Jose said it best when he said "That's Ben Eager. No Comment" on May 18th when Eager attacked Daniel Sedin.

Eager's disregard for the basic tenets of hockey -- to have high speed play, and hard active boards but to limit the speed and geometry of hits out of safety and respect -- is the most striking feature of him since he has been playing hockey. If you wish to deliberately exclude that, you might as well delete his entire biography rather than post a misleading piece of junk. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.155.183.128 (talk) 18:35, 19 May 2011 (UTC)Thomas Reply

So, explain what you mean here. IP user –Ammarpad (talk) 15:03, 26 November 2017 (UTC) –Ammarpad (talk) 15:03, 26 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

I just corrected a vandalism by an older IP [1]. He's 6'2" (188 cm) just like the sources told it [2] [3] [4]. Did you even know a thing about heights and measurements?? Did you ever seen a 3-feet hockey player? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.20.64.94 (talk) 15:07, 26 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
