Keep it. He was an inspiration with he video that he recently posted about his heart problems and what happened when he fainted. If you must know what they are about, got to Youtube and look him up. Please do not delete him, he really is someone who should have a page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.242.176.88 (talk) 05:55, 31 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

It is taking popularity, even in other languages. I don't see reasons to delete it. --175.100.80.136 (talk) 05:58, 30 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

KEEP. I did not come here because some website asked me to. I live in the Rocky Mountain west and do not know the Breedlove family or anyone associated with them. I came to Wikipedia to learn more about Ben Breedlove. Any teenager who can accomplish as much PUBLICLY in his or her short life as Ben Breedlove did should be given the same consideration and acknowledgement as an adult who accomplishes something publicly significant. If personalities such as the Kardashian family, who are famous only for being famous, can meet the criteria for admission to Wikipedia, then a teenage boy who produced scores of videos with a large public following, and who's last video entry has rivited and inspired literally millions of people around the globe with his courage and perspective should certainly qualify. bconnerjr — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bconnerjr (talkcontribs) 08:57, 30 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Editing the number of Video Views edit

What is the proper way to add in that Ben's video has 5,237,000 + views? thank youPetersontinam (talk) 01:41, 6 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

When is the deletion discussion closed? edit

When is this closed and how long, on average, does a decision take for a proposed deletion? ThanksPetersontinam (talk) 20:52, 6 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

It has been closed as no consensus. PROD would be a waste of time, additionally. --Bryce (talk | contribs) 09:15, 7 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
I think Petersontinam confused a proposed deletion (which this was not) with a Article for Discusssion (AfD) process, which in this case (as you say) has just been closed, with a ruling of "no consensus" for deletion at this time. If the AfD is what was meant, they normally are kept open ten days for full input. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:44, 10 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

ABC vs. People.com Article (Information) edit

Well,

On ABC it seems as if their story of bens Death is totally different the the one from People.com ( which was a interview from one of Bens Friends.... When everything Happened)

On the wikipedia article it says ben died while eating christmas dinner but,

On People.com on an article it says:

On Christmas Day Ben got a video camera and wanted to test it out. He went outside and started feeling out of breath and lightheaded so he came inside, laid down and just passed out again and never came back." Breedlove's parents called 911 after they saw him pass out but efforts to revive him failed.

So the question is: Should I replace the information from ABC with that from people.com? It seems to me as the people.com one is more accurate because it was obtained from Bens friend during an interview.....

Please discuss as it can only improve the article itself :)

Thank you, Dombroski :) ~ Here are the two articles that need to be examined - and decided which one to side with:
