Old comment: defeat of the Bemba edit

Moved from Bemba language:

In his book (Deutsche Arbeit in Niaßa) A. Merenskky quotes a letter from Hermann von Wissmann regarding the defeat of the Bemba, (Wabemba Babemba a military group who in the past had been defeated and badly treated by the Ngoni).

I figured this might be more relevant here. — mark 19:15, 2 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Population edit

Bembas can't be over 5,000,000. Bembas are found in Northern province and Luapula province, copperbelt isn't a province for bembas, but a province for lambas who are not in any way related to bembas. The population of Northern province is 1.3 million and Luapula is 900,000 so in short the population of bembas can't be more than 2.2 million, because in the northern province there other tribes like the mambwes and Namwangas who are not related or in any way bembas. But the copper belt is cosmopolitan meaning all the tribes are there in the urban areas so it is very difficult to segment who is who and the rural is dormant lambas. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kenneth Ngalamika (talkcontribs) 21:48, 25 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Forgiveness Ritual edit

Is there any evidence for that?
