I think the article should be merged or somehow more directly connected to the one about "The Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church". It also needs to be polished for more precision and quality (the verb "to organize" is consistently misspelled).

  • Hi, anonimus! Please, polish the article, but it shouldn't be merged. ROORC is a church, a body, a congregation. Belokrinitskoe Soglasie is a denomination, a faith to which this church belongs. And the Hierarchy is a whole tree of priests and bishops. Several churches belong to this tree, not only ROORC, and much more used these priests earlyer. Ideally somebody (maybe me) should fill this article with at least a line of mitropolitans of Moscow, and maybe some other famous priests from this hierarchy. But it certainly shoudn't be merged! • Thank you for your answer, Arseni. I think I agree with you - it shouldn't be merged, but maybe some of the stuff on the "history of Belokrinitskaya hierarchy which I wrote in the article on ROORC should be transferred here, but the ROORC expanded with more material on the history of BH in Russia. What I initially meant when I suggested merging was to "lump" the articles "Belokrinitskaya Hierarchy" together with ROORC and the Lipovan OORC, treating two latter as subsections, since to the best of my knowledge there are no other churches that belong to BH anyway (the novozybkovtsy is a completely different story). But, after thinking about it, I come to agree with you. Ouital77 11:11, 25 August 2005
    • I added the list of metropolitans in the ROORC article. Ouital77 11:13, 25 August 2005
      • Hi, Ouital! Let's move the hirarchy here. When writing about ROORC it would be nice to write more about its current state, its social and phylosophical positioning etc. And, yes, you are right - there are only 2 churches of this hierarchy now. But, for example, when Orkuzhniki and Neokruzhniki separated form each other in 1860th, they both were Belokrinitsk-ian, while beeing actually different churches. So princilaplly there's enough stuff to write here that couldn't be written in the ROORC article. Arseni 16:32, 29 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
