Translation edit

Sorry that my translation isn't very good, it needs to be copyedited. Thank you! --Shibo77 06:40, 24 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yongding Gate edit

"Three gates of the city wall are also intact (Desheng Gate, the Yongding Gate and Zhengyang Gate)." Yongding Gate was torn down in the 50s and rebuilt some time around 2000. It is definitely not intact. Malin84 (talk) 03:10, 17 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Conspicuous as there is no mention of where the foreign district was in Beijing? Where was it?

Shortern/Transfer Gates Section edit

Many of the inner and outer city gates appear to have their own article. Rather than going into painstaking detail about each gate on this page, I think it would fit the encyclopedia style better if these sections were cut out, or at least shortened, and instead link to the relevant articles for more information. Any information contained here that isn't in the corresponding gate article can be transferred over. Ahkei (talk) 03:19, 14 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
