Source Quality and Characterization

Some material recently added to the article cite sources of dubious veracity. None of the sources so far added refer to a number of 500 persons being massacred "per day", with all sources specifically referring to Moca as being the cite where 500 persons were said to have been killed. There is also material which has been added which characterizes the event as an ethnic cleansing and genocide. The first and second citation appears to have been derived from a blog page and business directory respectively, which themselves do not site any academic sources or non academic reliable sources as described on the Wikipedia:Verifiability page for this characterization, and the third citation makes no mention of ethnic cleansing, while itself contradicting the material which added that 40,000 persons were involved in the campaign, (the citation it's self states 20,000 persons participated in the invasion) Anjonu (talk) 20:33, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
