the novel and collaboration

edit

OK, I'll collaborate; please let us call this article Bee Season (film) and create a separate article for the book. If there's no objection I'll do it in the next few days. Cheers, Her Pegship 18:45, 14 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Done, and thanks. Her Pegship 13:43, 18 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Improvements needed

edit

Here are some areas for expansion:

  1. - The plot summary could be extended. While articles should not rely on a plot summary, this one is too brief and leaves out a number of important developments (e.g., Aaron's joining the Hare Krishna).
  2. - The multiple references to Kabbalism could be detailed and explored.
  3. - The character list could be expanded beyond each person's role in the family.

I also believe that the section on differences should be confined to the article on the movie, or at least be changed in tone so that the referent is the book, not the movie. (For example, the sentence "Also Chali, the woman who introduces Aaron to the Hare Krishna religion in the movie, is actually a man in the book" would be reworded to say "Chali, the character who introduces Aaron to the Hare Krishna religion, is portrayed as a woman in the film version.") -- Merope Talk 22:15, 25 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:MylaGoldberg BeeSeason.jpg

edit

Image:MylaGoldberg BeeSeason.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:11, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I disagree with the description

edit

The father is Jewish and interested in Kabbalah, but that wouldn't make it a Kabbalist family.
