Even though I'd seen this film many times,I jumped at t he chance for the DVD because I wanted to see if any scenes got cut for a 103 minute film to fit into a 120 minute time slot in the old days of television.

I spotted two---Lanza visiting his elderly mother(Celia Lovsky) before he reports to the Army---dropping off a pampered French poodle.

And Doretta Morrow singing "Be My Love"(???) as an audition song---a shame,because that is probably her best song in the film, even if it's in the wrong one.
