Talk:BeaverTails Canada Inc

The link to http://beavertailsinc.com/index.php/ at the bottom produces an "AC-RunActiveContent.js" dialogue box and a dark brown page with no content. Is it is okay to add something like "Link won't work with Macs" after that link. Modal Jig (talk) 18:42, 21 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I found a link that does work and made the necessary change.Modal Jig (talk) 18:51, 21 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

It looks like we are getting a consensus to merge coming together. The next question is which article should remain after the merger (the other will be come a redirect).

  • Beaver tail (pastry) - A fried bread, called "Beaver Tails" have a history of over 100 years, and is referenced in literature ("Explorations in the Far North" by Frank Russell, published 1896 - see http://www.billcasselman.com/canadian_food_words/cfw_five.htm) "Beaver Tails Canada Inc" was incorporated in 1978, and received a trademark in 1994 for the name "Beaver Tails" even though the name had been in the public domain for over a century. Their trademark claim (Reg #1820323) that the term "Beaver Tails" was first used in commerce in 1993 is false and should be challenged.- Fin6m —Preceding undated comment added 22:28, 28 February 2009 (UTC).Reply

Okay - it looks like we have a consensus here to merge the articles and into Beaver tail (pastry) and make this a redirect. I will go ahead and do that! - Ahunt (talk) 21:40, 4 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
