Note to student editors edit

Work from the established versions, not from scratch in your sandbox, in order to maintain appropriate wikilinks. A number of the wikilinks that have been dropped in are not the right ones, such as the Native naming controversy link substituted for the language link for a person's traditional name. Also watch out for WP:Copyvio issues. There are a few I'm spotting, and a text comparison showed this as borderline on needing reversion. Blatant copyvios and too many inappropriate links will result in reversions of edits, which is generally frustrating for new editors who've spent a lot of time in their sandboxes. I suggest putting the extant version of articles in your sandbox - using the raw code, not visual editor text - that way you won't have to be guessing at what wikilinks to add. All of this will make it more likely your edits will stay up. - CorbieV 22:20, 22 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
