Corrected peak heights

edit

The listed elevation of this mountain is incorrect, I believe. The linked source appears to be one individual GPS track. A more reliable source might be http://www.catskillmountaineer.com/BWF-bearpen2.html which lists the height at 3603 ft., or http://catskill-3500-club.org/peaks.php#bearpen which lists the height as 3587ft or 3600ft. Other sources say 3600 ft (https://www.cnyhiking.com/BearpenMountain.htm) or 3610 ft (https://listsofjohn.com/searchres?c=434&sort=&State=NY).

I have found discrepancies in other listed peak heights but have not yet been able to comment on their pages.

Also the external link mentioned in comment below is outdated, from 2008. The more recent version is here http://catskill-3500-club.org/peaks.php#bearpen. I didn't change because I didn't feel qualified to undo the previous edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mfrphoto (talkcontribs) 18:31, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
