Reproduction and lifecycle

In the section named it says; "In the Canadian Arctic, seal pupping occurs in May.[7] Further south, in Alaska, most pups are born in late April." Now I added a reference to show that in Igloolik they pup in early May. Now Igloolik and quite a bit of Arctic Canada is further south than parts of Alaska so the second sentence is confusing. Vocalization

Hello! As a group project, I and a few other students will be incorporating more information onto this page. I personally will be adding information on bearded seal vocalization. Sntgt15 (talk) 03:16, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

Hey! I just wanted to do a last minute peer review, and since we happen to be taking the same class apparently, I wanted to let you know what I thought of the article. I really liked the vocalization and conservation status sections since I find those topics interesting, and the sections were informative. I especially enjoyed the sample underwater vocalizations because ice breeding seals make very unique sounds, and it's cool to listen to the vocalizations while reading about how they are produced . I would, however, add more to the lead since it seemed a bit short, and it could reflect more of the GREAT information you guys have on the rest of the article!--Leodiaz97 (talk) 13:52, 7 June 2018 (UTC)

You did a great job on the Evolutionary History section! I think it would have been cool though if you added a phylogenetic tree. It would have made everything clearer and tied the section together.--Taylorvance336 (talk) 06:38, 8 June 2018 (UTC)
