Merge? edit
Is this article really worthy of an individual entry? It doesn't tell us much. There are no other entries for Cairns suburbs. Instead of deleting it, should we add some information on Cairns suburbs on the Cairns page? QazPlm 05:05, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
- I think it is pretty standard for suburb stubs to be created in the hope that somebody will expand them later on. I don't think that merging this into the Cairns article would add any value to that article, so I'm inclined just to leave it here. I think that there is a chance that stube will be created at some point for suburbs with some history behind them such as Edmonton, Gordonvale, Smithfield, Redlynch, Paramatta Park, Portsmith, and Palm Cove (Smithfield used to be a significant settlement on the banks of the barron River in the late 1800's before it was swept away in a flood) - so I think there isn't any harm keeping this one. There definitely wouldn't be any benefit in merging it with the Cairns article. -- Adz|talk 12:06, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
