According to Amazon and this site, the novel on which this film is based was entitled Baxter (not Hell Hound), written by Jessica Hamilton (not Ken Greenhall), and published in 1979 (not 1977). According to IMDb, "Jessica Hamilton" was a pseudonym of Ken Greenhall, but the other facts seem incorrect. Is there sourcing independent of IMDb that gives the Hell Hound/Greenhall/1977 information? If not, I suggest that we update the article to name Hamilton as the author. Tevildo (talk) 23:21, 28 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
As you mentioned, Jessica Hamilton was a pseudonym for Ken Greenhall - Valancourt Books and Goodreads. Baxter by Jessica Hamilton was the UK release title for Hell Hound. According to the Goodreads bio and the intro to the re-release of Hell Hound by Grady Hendrix, Jessica Hamilton was his mother's maiden name.
