Name
editI'm considering moving this to "Bavarian Maximilian Railway". Not only is that consistent with the naming of other Bavarian railways e.g. the Ludwig Western Railway, but it is more consistent with English conventions where railway structures are named after monarchs e.g. Victoria Station, not "Victoria's Station". In any case the "s" in Maximiliansbahn is not a possessive, but a linking letter (there is a technical name for it!). --Bermicourt (talk) 09:02, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
- No worries.--Grahame (talk) 00:58, 9 January 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks, Grahamec. It seems to need an admin move so I'll do this more formally. --Bermicourt (talk) 19:53, 9 January 2017 (UTC)

Bavarian Maximilian's Railway → Bavarian Maximilian Railway – This would be consistent with the naming of other Bavarian railways e.g. the Ludwig Western Railway, and also with English conventions where railway structures are named after monarchs e.g. Victoria Station, not "Victoria's Station". Also the current name is a mistranslation (which is my fault!) because the "s" in Maximiliansbahn is not a possessive, but a linking letter (there is a technical name for it!). - Support, makes sense and improves consistency. —Kusma (t·c) 11:02, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
