According to the Princeton article in Wikipedia the ship struck the mine on Feb 18, several days after the battle so I don't think "meanwhile" is the best way to describe it. The RCN was also known as Canadian Forces Maritime Command then. McMuff (talk) 04:46, 2 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
