Date discrepancy

"By the evening of May 31, the entire province of Cavite was under revolutionary control." or "Within a few weeks, Cavite had been captured." Which is it? Clarityfiend (talk) 02:46, 13 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Singapore vs. Hong Kong

edit

I just happened to look at this article for what was probably the first time and saw that the lead sentence said that Aguinaldo had arrived in the Philippines from Singapore. I checked the article history, and see that it has said that since the article was created in 2012. Aguinaldo returned from Hong Kong, not from Singpore. He had been living in exile in Hong Kong, had visited Singapore and traveled back to Hong Kong and, after some time in Hong Kong, traveled from there to Manila. His travels are covered in some detail in this source beginning here on page 19. The travel details are spread out over a number of pages; one key bit is here, on page 34.

I've changed the article to say that Aguinaldo had returned to the Philippines from Hong Kong. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 04:20, 14 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
