I believe the proper romanization using modified Hepburn is "Bataashi" not "Batāshi". One does not use a macron for sounds extending across kanji. Thus it is "Hiroo" for the place name 広尾, not "Hirō". If written with kanji, the title would be バタ足, so the rule applies here as well. Note that both the IMDb and WorldCat use Bataashi.
