Destruction edit

This article would benefit greatly from an account of how/why/when the basilica was destroyed or fell into ruins. As of now I am left scratching my head. — AJDS talk 03:57, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Fresco or Mosaic? edit

The article says the basilica would have been covered inside with fresco. Fresco would have been a highly unusual choice for Byzantine craftsmen and architects; they almost always used mosaic. Are we sure this is true, or is it a translation error? Phaesphoria (talk) 21:46, 9 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
