Destruction

Fresco or Mosaic?

The article says the basilica would have been covered inside with fresco. Fresco would have been a highly unusual choice for Byzantine craftsmen and architects; they almost always used mosaic. Are we sure this is true, or is it a translation error? Phaesphoria (talk) 21:46, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
