50 meter high vault? Isn't it too much
editIt is hard for me to believe that this basilica had a 50m high vault. The 117m long basilica could not have a vault that high : 1. it is incompatible with the picture of the Basilica Ulpia 2. it would be taller than Santa Maria ad Martyres(former "Pantheon") with a 43m high dome.

The central nave has not a vault, but a wooden roof hidden by some decorations. The lateral aisles have little vaults (only 5 m wide). Sorry I do not correct myself, because of my poor english. MM (talk) 08:45, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
