Statistics on bank accounts?

edit

How many are there? By type? By country/state/province? By demographic? Frequency distribution of accounts per person? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Evanwolf (talkcontribs) 01:17, 20 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Who may own a bank account?

edit

I just read that a convicted felon may not own a bank account in the US. I think the article should include something about the demands and responsibilities in different countries pertaining to having and operating a bank account. __meco (talk) 17:00, 7 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Historical??

edit

Anyone have any sources of the history of bank accounts? When did banks begin to offer anything like we old people remember as passbook savings and checking accounts? How many people had bank accounts? If a bank failed in 1800, 1850, 1900, how many families in a community would lose their deposits? Mulp (talk) 07:37, 19 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
