I want to change the TEST and T20I captain's of Bangladesh National Cricket Team. This is because the captain's of these format's have been changed and they are not updated on the Wikipedia. People rely on Wikipedia for correct information. And, I think we need to keep an eye on these updates everyday. If you need, you can check with the Local newspapers. The captain's have been changed for those format's. I humbly request you to give me an access to update these changes on the Wikipedia page of Bangladesh National Cricket Team. To add world record with reference

I would like to request honorable editors to add a new world record for Bangladesh team. Ban vs Zim t20I match no. 3 Bangladesh team played with three left heanded batter.. So please add this with reference... Mohammad Ali Rplsc (talk) 08:09, 26 July 2021 (UTC)

Overuse of match templates in History section

I think that there are far too many match templates in the History section (a mixture of {{Limited overs international}},{{Single-innings cricket match}} and {{Test match}}). I counted 3335 of these on this page, and as a comparison, on the other Test teams (most of which have a longer history) there are:

• Afghanistan : 1
• Australia : 0
• Bangladesh : 3335
• England : 0
• India : 0
• Ireland : 6
• New Zealand : 4
• Pakistan : 0
• South Africa : 0
• Sri Lanka : 0
• West Indies : 0
• Zimbabwe : 10

As you can see, this article has more templates than the other 11 teams added together. I think many of them should be removed (and converted to prose if necessary) and those that are left should have lots of the notes removed, only leaving text that directly relates to the Bangladesh team and (next to) nothing about the opposition / individual players. The whole History section also seems very detailed, and should be hived off into a separate article and only overall trends / really significant tours / matches left here. And looking through a some of the instances to see what was so significant I found the following, which I don't think need a match template to explain:

• a player taking a hat-trick
• Bangladesh losing by a single wicket in a Test
• 10 instances of Bangladesh's first win against a specific team in a specific format (this is leaving out their first ever win in each format, which I feel are reasonable)
• Bangladesh losing a Test by 3 wickets
• Bangladesh's only win in a given World Cup
• B's 2nd ODI win against a given team
• 2 instances of B's first draw against a given team
• B's highest ODI chase
• B's first innings victory
• B's first D/N Test.

At a stretch I'd include their first ever match and first every victory in a given format and possibly significant knock-out matches, and certainly remove all the ones mentioned above. It would be perfectly reasonable to mention all of these matches in plain prose, but the overuse of the match templates makes it very difficult to read the article. I have cut this down to 9 match templates, which is still more than all but one other team article. The whole history section needs equally severe pruning : we should be giving over all trends and major incidents, not the result of every single match in every single series (see WP:NOTDIARY. Hey, I would like to add the logo of Bangladesh Cricket Board( বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ডের লোগো.svg) as the replacement of the national flag in the article. Looks very odd there. And also want to add the name newly appointed fielding coach, Shane Mcdermott(on a full time contract) also there in the article. Reaching the 2018 Nidhas Trophy final and winning the 2019 Tri nation series in Ireland should not be considered as a major achievement for Bangladesh national cricket team as both of them are only a 3 team tournament and moreover Ireland and West Indies who participated alongside Bangladesh in that Tri nation series in 2019 were both ranked below Bangladesh in ODI cricket, so Bangladesh winning that 3 team tournament was not unexpected.
