@Vaticidalprophet: You were able to help illustrate the Cherry Valentine entry, following the subject's death. Might you be able to help illustrate this article as well? ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:59, 26 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Article title edit

While the subject is primarily known for his appearance as a contestant in Drag Race Thailand, I'm not sure if it's enough for the stage name to take precedence over his real name as the article title, considering his designer career. (Note that they're pronounced differently.) There are sources such as this interview[1] where he appears as his real-life persona, though not much else that's actually in-depth.

Also, I'm not familiar with the conventions on writing about drag performers. Is it standard to use female pronouns when referring to their performances, even for those who identify as male in real life? --Paul_012 (talk) 05:06, 27 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Another Believer, do you have any comments regarding the above? (1. The article title; 2. pronoun use) --Paul_012 (talk) 09:22, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Paul 012: I see "Bandit" used in English-language sources more than "Bandit Janthawan", so I suggest keeping the current page title. As for pronouns, we should use 'she' for claims about the subject's drag persona and preferred gender pronouns for the subject out of drag. If you'd like to see some   Good examples of how this is done, see here. Cherry Valentine is a   Featured example. ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:46, 28 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your thoughts, and the pointers. --Paul_012 (talk) 05:31, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

I don't think these say anything new, but sharing just in case:
