Paleolithic has to be wrong edit

Reference to Paleolithic in intro paragraph has to be wrong. 3 mil to 300,000 years ago? Modern humans anatomically emerge 30,000 years ago and Sapiens Sapiens is at best 200,000 years old. Historiaantiqua (talk) 07:09, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Reference to Ivanits (1989) edit

I have looked through Russian Folk Belief (1989) to find a discussion of the characters that appear in this wikipedia page, but was unable to find any. Perhaps it is wise to review this source, and see if it is really referring to this book and not another. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Weddingduck (talkcontribs) 19:49, 19 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Mass deletion of content after challenged soft delete edit

Following the deletion according to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Balto-Slavic swastika and subsequent restoring of this article, I deleted all claims I could not personally verify. I feel almost certain that I have deleted more than necessary, so if someone is able to verify some of the claims, feel free to restore information from this version [1]. I doubt that this particular type of swastika (Balto-Slavic swastika) existed in the past or exists now. Many types of swastikas can be found in Balto-Slavic cultures, but these same types of swastikas can be found in other cultures as well. I don't see a reliable source that describes the special type.
