• Whilst the university website uses the "Khuzdar" disambiguator, I think it is unnecessary for the article to be called that when there are no other institutions with this name. There is also the small problem of both these names needing a history merge when they were broken by copy&paste manouevres by User:Imran786pak around about 28-29 July 2007. Relisting. • Oppose - it appears from the university website that Khuzdar is an integral part of the name, not just a disambiguator. Muraho (talk) 14:25, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
• Don't have any strong views on the rename, but I should point out that there's a (slightly better) version of the same article at Balochistan University of Engineering & Technology, Khuzdar, which is presumably the other page requiring a history merge as mentioned above.--Kotniski (talk) 10:04, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
• Comment this sort of stuff is often vague and the web sites cannot be completely trusted - http://buetk.edu.pk/admission_policy/admission_policy.html refers to it as "the BUET", elsewhere it is "BUETK" and "UET, Khuzdar". - The government web-site http://dev.hec.gov.pk/UniversityFinal2/RegionUniversity.aspx lists it without the city name. • Comment - I should have made my reasoning a little clearer. I think the name we should go with is the one listed by the Higher Education Commission i.e. Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology. There is no reason why all the other spellings can't remain as redirects. Green Giant (talk) 10:59, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
