Leyton or Walthamstow?

edit

My understanding is that the boundary between the former boroughs ran a little to the west of Bakers Arms along Boundary Road E17 (hence the name). This is confirmed by this 1965 boundary map. The Post Office takes the boundary to be Lea Bridge Road, giving a number of residents the anomalous address of "Leyton E17" (the postcode for Leyton is E10, while Walthamstow is E17). I have changed the lede to say "on the boundary of Leyton and Walthamstow". Alansplodge (talk) 21:29, 30 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
