Reason for establishment of this article

While the sources are local (from the Houston Chronicle and its daughter publications, including the Heights Examiner and River Oaks Examiner), there is so much content (all sourced from secondary sources, all about non-routine events and/or unique characteristics about the school) that adding it all to Montrose, Houston or Neartown, Houston would give "undue weight" to either article. You could consider this a "daughter article"/article split to those ones.

As for List of Houston ISD schools there are hundreds of schools in the district. Even if one separated them by alphabet I think this would still be too much. At some point you have to make articles comfortable to read, and IMO the best way is to allow for a few select elementaries (either through the GNG process and/or through being an article split with a wealth of information sourced from secondary reliable sources) to have their own articles.
