Some of the information in this article may be inaccurate. --Jatr 00:38, 26 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Name one thing that may be inaccurate....

best selling song: NO it's with the new digital sales certifications 200000 is platinum, the old singles are still with the one milion sold mark for platinum

Added a lyrics link then removed it. Think lyrics would be a nice addition as lots of people search for them...just unsure of how posting them would relate to copyright issues... (it's getting insane) update: found some information on it, so guess i'll just leave the lyrics link off... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Songs#Lyrics_and_music_videos

YouTube links edit

This article is one of thousands on Wikipedia that have a link to YouTube in it. Based on the External links policy, most of these should probably be removed. I'm putting this message here, on this talk page, to request the regular editors take a look at the link and make sure it doesn't violate policy. In short: 1. 99% of the time YouTube should not be used as a source. 2. We must not link to material that violates someones copyright. If you are not sure if the link on this article should be removed or you would like to help spread this message contact us on this page. Thanks, ---J.S (t|c) 03:29, 10 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Images edit

Hey, J Milburn, thanks for taking your time to check it. I've changed the FUR for the single cover but I guess that was not why you tagged. I had already wondered if that second image was necessary. I'm not totally sure... yet I've found a quite interesting interview by Marc Webb. He said: "Another video that was kind of complicated, that people didn't really get while we were shooting – the label and the artist understood it better, but it seemed like a strange, random chaotic process – was the Daniel Powter video for 'Bad Day.' There's all these different shots, and a symmetry we were working with, and we had to shoot it out of order. It was a free-for-all. But I feel it really worked in the end. Everything was planned out and storyboarded, but when you jumped in it was a little bit scary." I'm not sure if it could have an image if I could match it with this statement. What do you think? @Gabriel Yuji: Hi Gabriel, and sorry that I missed this the first time around. My concern was actually with File:Daniel Powter - Bad Day.ogg- there needs to be a separate, specific rationale for each use of the file. In addition, the sample should be no more than 10% of the song's length, as per WP:SAMPLE. The screenshot is touch-and-go- I can see the value of a screenshot to illustrate the "symmetry" of the video, but I do think you'll have to write a strong rationale, tying it to the text of the article and explaining what, specifically, it's there to help the reader understand. Josh Milburn (talk) 09:34, 8 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
No problem, J Milburn. Now, I see. I haven't seen it before (facepalm)... It's only 10% but I really don't know about the rationale for adding it. The "file history" shows TonyTheTiger as the last who edited it. Could you help me, Tony? Gabriel Yuji (talk) 18:07, 8 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
What was I the last editor for?--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 01:22, 12 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
This, TonyTheTiger? Like Milburn, the reviewer also commented on the file. I found it necessary so I've removed. Thoughts? Gabriel Yuji (talk) 16:38, 12 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • I have not edited this song since this edit on 14:21, 17 May 2011. Why am I being summoned?
TonyTheTiger because you uploaded the sound file that was causing a problem. I've already removed it so that's no more a problem unless you think it should be re-added. Gabriel Yuji (talk) 03:09, 10 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
It is almost certainly the wrong thing to remove the sample. We need to readd it and adjust the FUR accordingly. It sounds like someone closer to the song than I might be better at writing a more acceptable FUR.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 17:28, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Drums edit

Note that Brendan Ostrander (also from Vancouver BC) played drums on this track plus another track on the album called 'Song 6'. Matt Chamberlain has been incorrectly give credit for playing on this song, but this is not correct. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theshowmecanuck (talkcontribs) 20:23, 16 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
