The link ("Bad" Lyrics directly from U2.com) that leads to the lyrics of the song will not let you read anything unless you become a member. I would rather suggest those 1 2 3. --Freshmeat number 10453 (talk) 09:17, 10 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Bad (U2 song)

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Bad (U2 song)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "PARRA_52-56":

  • From Pride (In the Name of Love): Parra, Pimm Jal de la U2 Live: A Concert Documentary, p.53, 1996, Harper Collins Publishers, ISBN 0-7322-6036-1
  • From The Unforgettable Fire: Parra (1994), pp. 52-56
  • From Timeline of U2: Parra, Pimm Jal de la U2 Live: A Concert Documentary, pages 52–55, 1996, Harper Collins Publishers, ISBN 0-7322-6036-1

  • From The Unforgettable Fire Tour: Parra, Pimm Jal de la U2 Live: A Concert Documentary, pp.52-55, 1994, Harper Collins Publishers, ISBN 0-7322-6036-1

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 12:07, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Bad; about a friend that died from heroine overdose

edit

Live, Bono has referenced a friend that on his 21st birthday died from an OD. Poor people lie in the gutter with needles in their pocket, dealers with cash in their pockets.

The song creates lucid metaphors applicable to chemical addiction, drug or alcohol. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.25.141.211 (talk) 18:58, 8 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
