Wire wheels: Wire wheels#On motorcycles says only main article: Motorcycle construction#Wheels, but that is not a main article, it is a subsection. Bicycle wheel is a better article, but none of these 3 actually explains how spokes support the wheel pre-stressed w/compression.

I'll be blunt: this reads like promotional gloss, has a very heavy "marketing" tone. Could we move it away from that? And for what it's worth, if I could afford this bike in the K1200S guise, it would be in my garage. --Sirimiri 03:31, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
A very nice article about a very nice bike... thats all I would say, the tone is correct as BMW has boken their image of being conservative and jumped into the competition
