Wouldn't "Shahyaad" be spelled شاھیاد not what is currently, written: شھیاد ? I am no expert in Persian just wondering. MirzaGhalib 06:53, 17 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Quality of Persian to English translation in the Design and Architecture section edit

The major content of the Design and Architecture section is an extensive "quote" that was obtained from a source written in Persian. It seems the translation's quality should and could be improved. The way it reads, the quote might have come from an interview (I can't say this for certain) and due to this source, the narrative contains an ad hoc "stream of consciousness" content. Due to this, the quote's content is not the quality required for an encyclopedia article.

I am not an expert in how translations are done; however, it seems logical that the translation should be rendered in standard grammatically correct English.

Also, the article could be better served if the large amount of quoted material would be revised. The quote runs three paragraphs, and besides being presented in poor grammar, it lacks presentation organization. Some of the quoted information could be retained as quotes, but there is much information that could be written outside the quotes in a better structure so that it could be more accessible to a reader (and although "outside" of a quote, this material could be referenced to the original sources).

As the majority of this article is sourced from two articles written in Persian. It would be good to find other reference sources written in English or French or another language. More references could provide additional information to improve the article. Osomite 🐻 (hablemos) 17:19, 17 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
