What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

Excess information, poorly sourced edit

This article seems to be a poorly sourced CV for Ayo Shonaiya (possibly written by him too). It claims a lot of credit to Ayo Shonaiya for the success of various artists, with little reliable proof. Many of the sources are primary sources (e.g. a video referenced to the video on Youtube) or completely unreliable (web forums and blogs). I've removed some of the off-topic, tangential information about the careers (and name changes) of these various artists and removed some of the unreliable forum sources.

Shonaiya has been written about in one or two reliable news sources so may be notable enough for Wikipedia. But the name-dropping and personal anecdotes need to be toned down and some more reliable sources that talk about Shonaiya and his work need to be found. Sionk (talk) 02:10, 10 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
