This was a fascinating read. As a minor suggestion, in order to enrich the article, I would add a section of the economic impact of such technologies within the cargo transport industry. Observations and suggestions for improvements edit

The following observations and suggestions for improvements were collected, following expert review of the article within the Science, Technology, Society and Wikipedia course at the Politecnico di Milano, in June 2022.

A mention to the fact that one of the greatest benefits of shared mobility is reducing land use in urban areas is missing.

Mentioning ShareNow[11] and Enjoy[12] as examples of enterprices that are delivering shared mobility all over the world seems a little bit Milan-centric.

In the section “Rebalancing” the problem is wrongly imputed to the stochasticity of the customer demand while it is instead related to structural periodic (daily or weekly) oscillations of the origin-destination demand. It is also said that “some stations are more popular than others” wrongly assuming that all sharing systems are station-based.

The section “Control” is tautologic.

In the figure “Waymo car prorotype” should be replaced by “Waymo car prototype”.

The section “Logistics” debates more about accessibility than logistics.

Probably you are a little bit Milan-centric. ShareNow is operating in many different cities among Europe, and until few years ago also in the US, while Enjoy exists in several Italian cities.
By the way, all the things written on this page are accurately referenced, they are not my opinion.
I do not understand what you mean by "The section “Control” is tautologic", I just reported the two aspects of a fleet of autonomous shared vehicles that need to be controlled in order for it to perform the task it was created for, and once again this is not my opinion, all the researchers on the topic agree (as can be seen from the references).
