The Automotive Industry of Turkiye began in 1925 just after the Turkish Revolution and Establishment of Turkish Republic.

Domestic brands and manufacturers almost not told. For example Etox and Onuk. They both have very interesting true stories.

No clue about large scaled side industries. Many major car makers buy parts from Turkey. For example engine blocks of some BMW models made in Turkiye.

Nothing said about "Devrim" the "impossible to do" concept car which encouraged the industry. In 1961 there was almost no automotive industry except minor side industries and it was a common belief that it was impossible to do/manufacture/design... a car in Turkiye. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.123.128.177 (talk) 14:48, 9 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
