I removed the picture, because I can't find a picture that is legal to use, and I'm not going to go through the trouble of figuring out how to contact some guy in australia just so I can ask him if we can use the picture. Even if I did, I would have no clue how to make his permission legal. Would I need him to sign something? I don't know.

I am by no means an expert on this, but I think you just need some one to release it into the Pulbic Domain LIke under the GPL or something. Don't take my word for it though.
BTW, if you know of any pages that are really trully wanted and will take multiple members doing, even if its just editting or spell-checking or looking for bias, I am here to help

I've done a google image search for golden whistler pictures, and I've found a drawing here by John Gould that is certainly public domain. A photograph is preferred, no doubt, but a drawing is better than nothing. Eugene van der Pijll 08:37, 14 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
I am not the one that requested the image but I will take initiative (sp?) and add it. If anyone has objections, let me know or just remove it yourself.

File:Pachycephala pectoralis - Risdon Brook.jpg to appear as POTD edit

Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Pachycephala pectoralis - Risdon Brook.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on March 21, 2013. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2013-03-21. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. Thanks! — Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:06, 6 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

The Australian Golden Whistler (Pachycephala pectoralis) is a species of bird found in Australia and parts of Indonesia. Males, like the one pictured here, have a bright yellow underside and nape, olive-green back and wings, a black head and chest-band, and a white throat; females are generally a dull brownish-grey.Photo: JJ Harrison
