The Australia (disambiguation) page should be used for disambiguation of the term 'Australia'.
There could be little serious debate that the two main uses of the term 'Australia' are 1) geographic refering to the continent, and as a abbreviation for 2) the State / nation of the 'Commonwealth of Australia' which occupies almost 90% of the continent; the other 10% being approx. equally administrated between Papua New Guinea and the Republic of Indonesia.
Before anyone goes to remove the geographic term from the disambiguation page, I would hope they would explain the reasoning here.211.30.84.166 16:24, 3 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
That makes sense to me on both counts. I can't see why the reference to the Australia (continent) was removed, and by an admin. Hopefully they may comment here. Andrewa 18:25, 3 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
