(Anyone that knows anything about the food world knows that winning a James Beard award is the food equivalent of an Oscar, Emmy, Tony, ... Now, do you think they pick notable or non notable restaurants to go to? Oh I don't know. So hard to decide. Should Guy Fieri go to to Ptomaine Tony's which is one health inspection away from being permanently closed or should he go to a James Beard American Classic? So glad I am not a producer.
