Contradiction and vacancy edit

The article says she was acting Surgeon General from 1995 to 1997, while the infobox says 1 July 1993 – 8 September 1993. Somebody please explain this contradiction?

Also, David Satcher became Surgeon General on 13 February 1998, and is said to be preceded by Manly. Was the office unoccupied between the end of Manly's term and the beginning of Satcher's? If so, that would be notable, and one or both articles should point this out. 174.24.126.88 (talk) 13:52, 16 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Missing Info edit

Article initially states that Manley was appointed chief resident at Cook in 1962 but does not mention any work career-wise done by Manley between 1962 and 1988. Career achievements or hospital initiatives be discussed. Lady Fierce (talk) 05:27, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Personal Info edit

Are there any existing interviews of Manley discussing her personal life? One reference mentions a previous marriage but besides that, little seems to be known on her marriage or any potential children. Lady Fierce (talk) 06:57, 6 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Expand Content On Her As Acting Surgeon General edit

Important information was added to this page! If more information on her notable impact and time as the acting surgeon general can be added that would be nice since this job is super important towards society, but this is a promising article. More information can also be found in the Spelman College ArchivesQuietstorm14 (talk) 03:38, 11 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
