Contradiction

edit

Contradictory statements are made concerning availability of the French version. "The original French Atoll K remains intact but the film has not been made available for public viewing since a VHS video release in 1996" is followed immediately by: "On October 10, 2012, the French version of the film was released by Gaumont à la demande on DVD". How can it be "not available for public viewing" when a DVD is available?  JGHowes  talk 12:57, 13 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Possible copyvio by somebody

edit

The section on the production of the film is word-for-word the same as the "Troubled Production" section of the film's entry at the TV Tropes website here. Since the information here is actually source-cited, I'm going to assume it's the TV Tropes contributor that copied the text, but I thought I'd call attention to this in case someone with a TV Tropes account can reword that version, or someone who has the desire can reword the version here so they aren't identical. 23skidoo (talk) 22:26, 10 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi, It was first released in UK, so the UK law should be used, and it is not in the public domain there. Also copyright in USA may be renewed because of URAA. So I removed the category Category:Films in the public domain. Yann (talk) 17:28, 2 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
