Not done: requests for changes to the page protection level should be made at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 03:16, 26 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

There is no need for this article to be edit protected to begin with. What we have here is an editor who thinks they can add whatever they want to the article, and when the content that doesn't follow manual of style gets removed, gets upset and asks for protection. The same editor previously tried to get the article protected because I fixed text that had all words begin with capital letters. We have used the edit summary and editors talk page to try to explain why content is removed or edited, so I don't know what more we can do, but asking for protection so that content not allowed or not following manual of style can remain in the article is not the answer. I concur with your opinion Cmr08. I am currently copy-editing the article to include adding references. I currently have the GOCE inuse tag in place to prevent edit conflicts. I hope we can all work together and keep the article in the best condition possible. I have left a note on the talk page of one user who has continuously been adding copyrighted and watermarked inappropriate images to the article to please stop that. I have not seen any communication from that user. Hopefully that user as well as other editors will continue to try to improve or expand the article rather than disrupt other editing of the article, and or vandalize the article. What are your thoughts on this Cmr08? Carriearchdale (talk) 22:15, 5 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Now that you mention it, all the times I left him a message or an edit summary, he has not once made an attempt to discuss. By the way, the message I left on you talk page was written before I noticed the reply here. Cmr08 (talk) 22:21, 5 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
