Hi all,
Specifically in the "Mercury Contamination" section, I added a series of reminders to cite the information that is utilized so that this article does not plagiarize information that does not belong to the author/s.
Additionally, it would be useful to confront sources that have studied the health issues related to the consumption of fish that contain mercury. There are risks for every age group and gender for ingesting mercury, and it would be useful to state this and what kind of issues eating the infected fish may cause. What might also be useful is to compare the issues of mercury contamination to other geographical locations to convince this article's audience that the Asubpeeschoseewagong First-Nation community are suffering the same ailments due to mercury poisoning.

As industry and gvmt. had BELIEVED ? edit
"...time has not lowered the levels of mercury in the Wabigoon River system as the paper and pulp industry in Dryden and the Canadian government had originally believed." Where does it say what they BELIEVED? (Shall we assume/imply they were THAT stupid?) I found no support for this stmt. in Ref8 (D.Bruser,2017), which reads, "The RESIDENTS WERE TOLD ... the river would, over time, clean itself naturally." I have added content to this article that I also added to related articles, including Paper and pulp industry in Dryden, Ontario, Grassy Meadows First Nation, Ontario Minamata disease, which focusses on the Minamata disease —severe mercury poisoning, and Mercury contamination in Grassy Narrows, Ontario, Canada which will be part of a series of articles, "Mercury contamination in ....", similar to the Mercury contamination in California waterways. While working on these articles, there will be some overlap, and eventually pruning. There has been an increase in research, reports, media coverage, and other publications in recent years that is providing more details on various aspects of mercury poisoning in Northeastern Ontario. I am using this content as much as possible to clarify and at times, replace existing, and in some cases outdated content.Oceanflynn (talk) 17:45, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
