These are all from the documentation files of the video game. The logo is from the game's website. What do I need to tag these images as? Cuberguy 23:25, 21 December 2006 (UTC) I have fixed the license stuff. --Cuberguy 00:03, 22 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Assaultcube is public domain, licenced under zlib. But some of the textures and models are creative commons and not free for commercial use, thus making it non-free as a whole, but the sourcecode is zlib. It's not easy to find out which parts of the art are creative commons and which are free. --Stanzilla 16:47, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I talked with one of the developers and they will change the screenshot section on their website, adding a notice that screenshots are public domain and free for any use. Stanzilla (talk) 18:13, 11 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

There is a rule that you may not copy website text. edit

So delete this page, please. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by E-Magination (talkcontribs).

Show me what passages are copied, and I'll rewrite them. Cristan 13:43, 25 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Download links edit

These don't belong in the article. We only need to link to the website, and you can find the download links from there. Wikipedia is not a mirror or a repository of links, images, or media files. --Noerrorsfound 06:54, 25 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've added a link to the download page of the AssaultCube website. It's handy, updated and one link. That should do it. Cristan 13:44, 25 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
There's no need to link to the download page. If people want to download it, they can go to AssaultCube's website and click the download link. We shouldn't link to each individual page, because that's what the website is for. All the other game articles only link to the website itself and not the download page specifically, and I believe that is how it should be in every article. --Noerrorsfound 15:14, 26 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

link removed... edit

I removed ri-ac from the links section. That link will be dead within the next few days (or weeks) due to development on the AssaultCube project making it obsolete. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.57.57.56 (talk) 05:55, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Great edit

I see the added citations. I think i'll go threw the article and format it a little better. I'll also remove the tag at the top. 76.178.116.6 (talk) 17:57, 23 November 2008 (UTC) Zomg! Thanks :) Stanzilla (talk) 14:06, 25 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Server and Player Info edit

I am consantly watching the Server on masterservers.cubers.net, I have never seen the server ammount go below 70 let alone 60, so please keep the ammount at 70 at a minimum, also I added a rough estimate for the ammout of player, instead of just having a the phrase " a consistant plater basis" I added, of hundreds of players, because I have never seen less then 100 players, nor have I seen over 300 players, so I figured it was a nice compromise, also if anyone would have a citation for the player ammount that would be great, thanks. And who removed my GPU info, and why. (Death). --sburns90 00:03, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have seen them go below 70, actually, when I told makkE about your edits, he counted the servers himself and it were 64. He started an email to you but I told him I would talk with you on your talkpage (or here). You can ask him on IRC or in the forum if you doubt me. It would be great if you could write something about the efforts of creating a CTF league on ESL. ESL is something important (relevant, notable and so on). Try to not sound like a fan, this is an encyclopedia... yadayadayada. Oh and the link to the master server was a good idea. :)--Stanzilla (talk) 22:11, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oh and I didn't remove the GPU info, but you can see who did what by checking the history. I am more active on de:WP, because my english sucks, so... I am not always the bogeywoman. :P --Stanzilla (talk) 22:14, 26 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
