Speedy deletion edit

I got a note to say that this page has been nominated for speedy deletion. I would like to contest that, as the company is one of the biggest pulp and paper manufacturer in the world. I will extend the article so the notability of the company is clearer. --SasiSasi (talk) 08:47, 4 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notability has already been asserted by another editor. Good luck with this article. Victor Lopes (talk) 21:56, 5 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality edit

An editor with the IP 39.210.8.240 has made some edits to the page which conflict with Wiki:NPOV, not to mention that the IP appears to be from Indonesia. They also appeared to edit the criticism section, talking about the good reputation of the company... suspicious? - UserPrJ 27 talk 05:49, 30 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Request for Edit edit

Hello, my name is Maria, you can call me Marion as per my username. I am quite new to Wikipedia editing but I have been learning the guidelines and best practice on editing in Wikipedia. I have stated in my user page that I have Conflict of Interest with this page and also have put the Connected Contributor template above. Herewith I would request to edit the page. I couldn't find the "Submit a request" on the view page so I put in the Talk page manually. If there is any mistake, please kindly advise me. As a start the requests I would like to make are as follow:

  • In the side box, it is written as "Pulp and Paper Mill", please edit this into "Pulp and Paper" as it is the more common terms.
  • Please remove "with operations mainly in Indonesia and China." Our operations are already expanded, I will get back with the detailed source for this.
  • Please add link for RGE Royal Golden Eagle to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Golden_Eagle
  • Under RAPP headline, it is written as "RAPP operates in Riau Province, Sumatra, Indonesia", please edit this into "APRIL’s pulp and paper mill located at Pangkalan Kerinci in Riau Province Indonesia is capable of producing up to 2.8 million tonnes of pulp and 1.15 million tonnes of paper per year." Source: [1]
  • Adding below "Criticism headline": In June 2015, APRIL Group announced its enhanced Sustainable Forest Management Policy. As part of the new sustainability policy, APRIL Group said it would halt harvesting of all natural forest four years earlier than planned and would only use supplies from its own plantations. [2]
  • Greenpeace welcomed the announcement and confirmed it would suspend its campaign against APRIL and that it would be “watching closely to make sure that today’s announcement leads to real change on the ground.” [3] WWF also expressed that they cautiously welcomed APRIL Group’s enhanced Sustainable Forest Management Policy. [4] Grievances and alleged violations of APRIL’s SFMP highlighted by NGOs and civil society groups are reviewed by the Stakeholder Advisory Committee and reported publically at APRILDialog.com [5]

I hope my request will be processed by this community. Thank you and best regards.
