I'm the WikiProject Cities assessor of this article; if you would like some commentary, give me a holler! --Starstriker7(Say hior see my works) 00:44, 20 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dear Starstriker7, I have a few comments. -- 1) The statement "Ashton was dubbed 'the best known American town in the world'" is so naive that one is forced to smile: Ashton better known than NY? LA? Washington? ---

2. The demographics are by far too detailed for a 1,000-people "city" (actually a smallish village). The hypertrophic information provided looks like a tedious 6th grade exercise on percentages rather than an appropriately balanced encyclopedic content. The non-appropriateness peak is reached in the "racial make-up", where "0.09% Asian" translates to exactly 1 (one) person. --

By the way, saying that "The gender makeup of the city was 49.1% male and 50.9% female" is incompatible with "For every 100 females, there were 92.3 males" i.e. M 48.0% and F 52.0%. -- Regards. -- Vcena (talk) 14:59, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
