Please fix the redirect to go to 2021_storming_of_the_United_States_Capitol#Deaths, rather than just 2021_storming_of_the_United_States_Capitol. Less importantly, per WP:RCAT, the categories that were on the page may be retained. Courtesy pinging protector Ymblanter. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 18:39, 7 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Fuzheado: Andrew, this was your close, could you please have a look--Ymblanter (talk) 18:43, 7 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Ymblanter, Sdkb - Redirected to section done. -- Fuzheado | Talk 18:49, 7 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ping: @Fuzheado:, Ymblanter, Sdkb - There is no such section. All the best: Rich Farmbrough 06:59, 8 January 2021 (UTC).Reply

@Rich Farmbrough: It looks like it's been renamed "Casualties". I'm not sure if Cewbot will be able to handle a protected page, so you might want to fix manually. I'll also add an anchor at the destination. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 07:07, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
  Done, looks fully uncontroversial to me--Ymblanter (talk) 07:47, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

redirect specificity

edit

@Ymblanter: instead of #Casualties it should probably point to the #Deaths subsection. WakandaQT (talk) 19:39, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

continued coverage January 8th by Daily Mail and New York Post

edit

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9126329/Trump-supporting-Capitol-rioter-shot-dead-harassed-husbands-ex.html

https://nypost.com/2021/01/08/ashli-babbitt-once-harassed-and-chased-husbands-ex/

Explores allegations of a July 2016 encounter (thrice rear-ending) with "spouse's former lover" clarifying that "then boyfriend" was referred to Aaron Babbit.

The USA Today article mentions "Maryland records show the McEntees divorced in 2019" for comparison, so Ashli appears to have been dating Aaron more than two years prior to divorcing Timothy: indeed the "Printed Name" field under Defendant reads "Ashli McEntee".

Fuzheado's summary at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ashli Babbitt reads "all three criteria are satisfied as stated in the policy" in regard to Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons#Subjects_notable_only_for_one_event which I've overlooked and cleaned up.

I would like to highlight the 3rd condition which is actually a "1 of 3" type situation:

  1. insignificant event
  2. insignificant role
  3. insignificant documentation of role

Fuzheado did not clarify which of the three was filled so I will request clarification. WakandaQT (talk) 21:57, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

@WakandaQT: It's unusual to continue to edit the talk page of an article that has been redirected as you have been. If you think the deletion was improper, I would recommend beginning a discussion at WP:DRV.
I should also point out that the Daily Mail and New York Post are both deprecated sources. GorillaWarfare (talk) 22:00, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

redirect template

edit

@Ymblanter: would it also be possible to embed Template:R with possibilities given the interest many editors have expressed in having a complete article and the continued expansive coverage? WakandaQT (talk) 23:09, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I do not think this is compatible with the outcome of the AfD.--Ymblanter (talk) 23:16, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Edit request - broken redirect.

edit

Change redirect from #Deaths to #Casualties as redirect is broke.

Please revert the edits made by WWGB who removed categories with the edit summary "WP:RCAT". RCAT does not say redirect may not have categories. In matter of fact it says they may have, see Wikipedia:INCOMPATIBLE (redirect to same page). We have the redirect, and therefore, we should have the categories (imho).   Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit protected}} template. Izno (talk) 05:21, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Section has changed name to Casualties and damage

So, please copy-paste following line:
