The image linked to this page looks like Black Swallow-wort to me. I think the correct identification would be:

I haven't read all the rules for submitting comments, but I thought it was important to have someone look at this since Asclepias purpurescens is a native plant and in some places it is rare, while Cynanchum louiseae is an invasive species.

I know that Tetraopes tetraophtalmus feeds only on A. syriaca. I question the validity of the large milkweed bug (Oncopeltus fasciatus), small milkweed bug (Lygaeus kalmii) and milkweed leaf beetle (Labidomera clivicollis) feeding on this particular species of Asclepias. T. tetraophtalmus is rather specialized. Other members of the genus feed on different species of Asclepias and the same may apply to the other insects.
