Genus misspelled? edit

Is the genus misspelled in the caption under the image? The spelling does not match the article.

It is indeed, but I will be removing it eventually as that species in no longer included in the genus. Thanks Djlayton4 | talk | contribs 16:34, 15 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Newly described species edit

There was recently a new species of Arundinaria described by Jimmy Triplett in Alabama. The new species is Arundinaria alabamensis and has been given the common names "Tallapoosa cane," "Alabama cane," and "brittle cane," although the first name seems to be the preferred one.
